Removal proceedings are administrative proceedings to determine an alien’s removability from the US and his/her eligibility for relief under the Immigration and Nationality Act. Removal proceedings are typically conducted in Immigration Court (the Executive Office for Immigration Review or EOIR) by an immigration judge.
